Asher has made Asher's local name Neil StevenE has made StevenE's local name Ekur fadethecat appears on the other side of a new smoking hole in the wall. fadethecat has made fadethecat's local name Draco The GM says, "Last log, as usual, at http://earl.of.sandwich.net/In_Nomine/Civis_Game_Logs/Session_045_Oct07_0 7.txt ." The GM says, "Take a couple of minutes to refresh yourselves as I type; general gist was that you had just shown up and gotten the briefing from Yazz. Positions under discussion are shrink, teacher, social worker, doctor, as you may select. He'll announce them at breakfast call." Asher [to William]: That's a weird disconnect. Settings with magic healing -- do they really have specialized doctors? Asher [to William]: I can't figure what an ethereal doctor would do, past role-affirmation. Asher [to William]: Let 'em get better on their own, cast Ethereal Healing, or let them die -- seems pretty straightforward. Do ethereals have more difficult problems? The GM says, "Sometimes treating Mind Hit loss requires convincing the patient -- due to personality or physical rules -- that proper medicine is being performed on their current body." Neil says, "Being a doctor could be sort of fun -- they come in with a broken arm, give attitude, leave with TWO casts." Neil watches too much House, so never mind. The GM says, "Besides, as a meta thing 'the doctor inserts his needles into the correct qi medians and chants a mantra, thereby performing Ethereal Healing,' is ever so much more interesting than 'he rolls EthHealing, you gain 4 Mind Hits.' ;^)" The GM says, "And shrinks, of course, are a big practice in the Marches. In some places they border on physicists." Neil says, "Neil doesn't have the formal psych background, recent study efforts notwithstanding." Neil says, "So it's doctor, teacher, social worker, or generic guard." The GM says, "Right." The GM says, "So, here was my thought for the day. First, Yazz gives you the layout. Then, if you're still so inclined, each of you select your role and take a few days to get settled in. We run an individual 'typical encounter' scene for that role a couple of days later, and you get together to compare notes and go from there." The GM says, "Sound like a plan?" Draco says, "I like that setup, though I'm still having trouble working out how to deal with Draco under the circumstances. The whole being a Seraph thing is amazingly non-conducive to interacting directly with the prisoners." William [to Draco]: That's a difficulty of being a Seraph, indeed. You'll have to come up with something... Draco [to William]: If the Domain were more amenable to animal shapes, I'd try for something more subtle and listening in. As it's not... I'm sort of drawing a blank on how to deal with this. roll 3d6 On 3d6, you rolled 14. William [to Draco]: Shall I pull a suggestion from Draco's vast experience and intellect? Draco [to William]: Please. Asher [to William]: That plan sounds good, though I just missed a couple minutes. William [to Draco]: Do the generic guard thing. Partner with Bob, sign the same employment contract with Yazz as everybody else and agree to take his orders. If Yazz says you're a guard, you're a guard. The GM says, "And, as it happens, you're..." roll 1d2 On 1d2, you rolled 2. The GM says, "Neil's assigned bodyguard." Draco [to William]: That sounds good. Thanks. The GM says, "Ekur, you selected being a psych or social worker, right?" Neil says, "Hey, I've got muscle. Awesome." Draco should probably redesc, if going in as a guard. Nuns just aren't that scary to most people. Neil says, "Bodybuilder nun! Metal nun!" The GM says, "Yeah. Given that Bob recognized you and Rick is around here somewhere, Ekur is already not wearing his usual face and the other two of you probably oughtn't either." The GM says, "I have in my gaming database somewhere a news article concerning a Marine gunnery sergeant who became a nun..." Draco says, "My usual face is a ferret, but point taken." Neil twirls in a pretty light show, and when the light clears... Asher has made Asher's local description A man in green scrubs, with a friendly smile and a frost-limmed stethescope. The GM says, "Nurse Angel Neil!" William tentatively prods at Steven's connection fadethecat has made fadethecat's local description A bodyguard so generic-looking there's probably a plain white T-shirt with a barcode on it beneath his black jacket. Ekur pokes his connection. The GM says, "Ah, good." The GM says, "Although there seems to be much lag." Ekur watches as lots of text scrolls on, and catches up. William [to Ekur]: It appears Draco is a bodyguard and Neil will be a doctor. You had selected psychiatrist/social worker, right? StevenE [to William]: Yep! The GM says, "Excellent, we're all here." The GM says, "In which case, game on." Yazz makes a note of your role choices and signs Draco to a short-term contract. William [to Draco]: Come to think of it, be Ekur's bodyguard instead. He'll be meeting with prisoners one on one, and there's more than one doctor in the hospital for Neil to mingle with. Draco [to William]: Works for me. Yazz says, "Okay, a new doctor in the hospital wing will just require introducing you to the other doctors, that's not a big addition. I'll make an announcement at breakfast that we're setting up a counseling office with psych staff for prisoners that want to make an appointment." He thinks. "Or get ordered there." Yazz says, "Lemme give you the grand tour before everybody wakes up." Yazz leads you out into the prison proper, starting with the central services area, which is in the building you're in -- hospital, cafeteria, guard barracks. He points out a meeting room they'll repurpose for Ekur's office, near the hospital wing. There aren't many people about, visibly. The GM says, "Lights are on in the guard barracks, but you don't go in there at the moment. There are four doctors in the hospital futzing with supplies and records, to whom Neil is introduced." Neil shakes their hands and makes their introduction. Asher [to William]: Four rolls? The GM says, "Yeah." Neil rolled 12 versus 20 and succeeded by 8. Neil rolled 9 versus 20 and succeeded by 11. Neil rolled 12 versus 20 and succeeded by 8. Neil rolled 13 versus 20 and succeeded by 7. Draco [to Neil]: And don't forget to check the happyfun group dynamic! Asher [to William]: Hmm. If it's not an imposition, the fifth as -- the four of them and Yazz. How subordinate are they? Neil rolled 11 versus 18 and succeeded by 7. The GM says, "Drs. Williams, Xeno, Yarrow, and Zebulon are pleased to meet you. All are satisfied with their current positions, and at the moment are distinctly grateful to Yazz for quelling the unexpected riot earlier. Dr. Yarrow is jealous of Dr. Zebulon's recent research success -- Zebulon, who studies fading, managed to apparently stabilize a prisoner who had been suffering that terminal Ethereal condition. Zebulon's most deviant act is stabilizing that Ethereal. The others' are unremarkable." Neil introduces himself as Dr. Voorhees. The GM says, "About half the beds are occupied by a sense of presence, dispersed ethereals anchored to those locations. The doctors are interested in whether you do any research. Yazz says, 'You want more of the layout or should I leave you here to get acquainted?'" Neil waves Yazz on. "I think we're fine, sir." Yazz says, "Allrighty." He heads out, party in tow. Neil [to William]: Do I have focus? The GM says, "Oh, was that separating from the other two?" Asher [to William]: I just said I didn't need a tour and Yazz just left -- did I misunderstand? The GM says, "No, I was unclear. Hmm. Lemme go with finishing the layout, and we'll come back to you. We may need it for scene-setting later." Asher [to William]: Sure thing. Yazz takes Draco and Ekur across a lawn with a soccer field, basketball court, and weight area, to the first detached building, the largest in sight. The fields and the building are all lit by strong lights, and the barbed-wire-topped wall stands imposing, forming the edge of vision. Yazz waves his hand vaguely at the rows of cells on each floor. "Minimum security wings here. This one's for nonviolent offenders. Debtor's prison, mostly. Fellows who made promises they couldn't or wouldn't keep. Used to be most places that'd just get you beat up and run out of town. Jane's been persuading Domains that want to look civilized to try this on instead." fadethecat [to William]: (People suddenly showing up, I will be semi-idle for a few. Not going anywhere, but afk.) Yazz says, "There's another one just like this on the other side of the exercise fields we just crossed. That one we're kinda proud of -- it's for paying customers. Ethereals that being prisoner is part of them. Bird-Man of Alcatraz, Man in the Iron Mask, couple of others. Some of 'em pay to stay for a while and stage breakouts, like Edmond Dantes. Got some human images occasionally show up here, some Peltier fellow, some sheikh. If Nelson Mandela's anything like what people idolize him as, he's a downright nice guy." William [to fadethecat]: Right-o. Ekur nods. William [to Ekur]: With an easy Lit roll, you'd catch those first names. The latter... *pokes at your skills list* Ekur rolled 12 versus 18 and succeeded by 6. The GM says, "Iron Mask and Dantes you catch, Bird-Man rings a vague bell. Peltier, 'some sheik' you don't catch. But Mandela you know -- he was responsible for a minor Dreams Tether a few years back." The GM says, "One of the few current humans of interest you'd know anything about." The GM says, "The cells here are full, all of them. Apparently, Jane is contracting the prison at capacity. All of the prisoners are peacefully dispersed. You can get flashes of emotion from the presences." The GM says, "There are a few bored guards patrolling the halls, who come to attention as Yazz passes." The GM says, "Any comment, or shall we move on?" Draco [to William]: I'll go ahead and turn on resonance now; please let me know when I need to refresh. William [to Draco]: 'k Draco rolled 9 versus 22 and succeeded by 13. Ekur pings various people he sees, just looking for any emotional flashes that seem especially suspicious. William [to Ekur]: One of the guards -- you recognize him as a troublemaker who was arrested in Civis for attempted theft of relics -- comes to attention as you pass like everyone else, but with considerably more of a flash of nervousness. The GM says, "Yazz passes him up without comment for the moment, unless you stop deliberately." Ekur doesn't. The GM says, "'k." Yazz moves you on to the next building, which is only one story and arranged around a central panopticon guard station. (That is, the rows of cells are all visible, arranged in rays, from a central circular desk/armory area.) The guards are more alert here. Weapons are available in locked cases, and glass doors separate the cell areas from the guards. Yazz says, "Tighter security. Violent offenders here, and the prisoners you fellows from Civis send us for messing with humans." He points out a room to one side of the guard station, inscribed with a Sorcerous circle given alchemical reality with some sort of odd powdering. "Dorotea does her thing in there. They fight more often here. Longer terms, too." Rick is assigned to this guard station; he stands up and calls his squad to attention as Yazz enters. Yazz says to Rick, "Status?" Rick replies, "Quiet tonight, sir. They heard the noise from the hospital wing, but nobody made trouble. All prisoners are dispersed and have been checked at their anchors." roll 3d6 On 3d6, you rolled 11. William [to Draco]: At least, he was reported this from his men, whom he trusts, and it's what he believes. Part of it is not true, but this is because erroneous information has been reported to him. The GM says, "(If fade isn't active currently, we'll assume Draco follows Ekur's lead and keeps that little tidbit under his hat for a more private moment.)" fadethecat [to William]: I'm here, but will keep quiet for the moment, yes. Asher has reconnected. Neil sighs. Yazz nods. "Good, good." Ekur: no particular emotion on Rick's part suggests he recognizes you, either. Neil says, "Sorry. Spotty connection." Yazz takes a deep breath. "Right. In that case... Death Row." Neil says, "I cannot BELIEVE I made such a fundamental error as opting out of the big sweep." Yazz leads you further back into the prison, past another lawn. This area is not so lighted. The klieg lights are still there, but somehow the effect is muted, and shadows fall in uncanny places. Death row is a long, low, building, with small windows in each cell. Yazz paces around it from the outside, heading toward one end, the end away from a looming chamber bigger than the rest of the hall. "Remember," he says almost pleadingly, "we didn't make this. And we certainly aren't trying to keep the humans here. We don't even assign guards to go in unless something looks like it's happening." Yazz produces a key from his belt and unlocks a door on one end. You go into a small chamber, and he locks the door behind you before unlocking the door on the other side. Beyond is a scene from a horror movie. The GM says, "The hall is long, longer than the outside of the building would have appeared, and yet the door at the end is horribly clear. The death chamber lies beyond, though the actual instrument -- chair, noose, gurney -- changes from moment to moment. Shadows prevail. Light comes out of some cells, where dreamscape orbs float waveringly. Some have resolved, and humans lie or pace or chitter nervously in cells the size of coffins, or manacled to walls of stone or metal or ice." Ekur definitely examines the humans, and wants their reactions to being told their sentences have been commuted. William [to Ekur]: The first one you look at would believe you, and wake up in a sweat of relief. He has no particularly deep attachment to his current nightmare. The second one, a woman, is chained to an enormous tumor, and would disagree with you. The third man would spit in your face for attempting to mock him. He knows what he is guilty of, guilt boils in him. The GM says, "There are almost as many reactions as there are people." Asher [to William]: ... oh, dear. Ekur tells the first one, "Sir, your sentence has been commuted." And on to the others, insofar as they would react well. Draco stays with Yazz, and merely frowns at the place and the dreams within. The GM says, "This is successful in about one in three cases. As you go down the row handing out amnesties, some of the other prisoners -- the ones who wouldn't take an amnesty even if it were given -- cry out in anger demanding one, or telling you to kill them, or the ones you're freeing, and get it over with." roll 3d6 On 3d6, you rolled 4. William [to Ekur]: And as you regard one of those unresolved dreamscapes with a professional eye, you realize it is *occupied*. The GM says, "That is, by someone not the dreamer." StevenE [to William]: CorpDreams to enter the dreamscape? Or something else? William [to StevenE]: CorpDreams works. The GM says, "Roll it." Ekur rolled 7 versus 15 and succeeded by 8. The GM says, "You reach a hand through the bars, and gently make contact with the border of the bubble. Singing a few notes that contrast melodically with the dirge someone down the way is still chanting, the bubble flows down your arm and envelops you, then returns to its normal shape. Yazz and Draco see you gone." The GM says, "Inside, the landscape is roughly the shape of a prison cell. There are two other beings here. One is a black teenager, unable to move from his bed, as any inch of movement would stick him with one of the poison-bearing lethal-injection needles arranged around him on a hellish framework. The other is the doctor doing the arranging, who looks up at you." Neil . o O ( "I'm here with a second opinion. Prognosis: Beatdown." ) Ekur looks at the doctor, and says, "Stop tormenting him and get out of here." The 'doctor' says, "Is that you, boss? You look different these days." Ekur resonates the 'doctor'. The GM says, "The teenager looks up. 'Please help me,' he says." William [to Ekur]: Layers. Thinks he's cool and calm. Motivated by a violent undercurrent of terror for his current employer. Any reaction? The GM says, "And yes, in your experience this is definitely emblematic of the motivations of demons of Nightmares." The GM says, "Not diagnostic, but indicative." Ekur manifests his sword and shield, and moves menacingly toward the 'doctor'. The GM says, "He backs off, as the incredulous teenager looks on. 'Ho ho,' he says. 'That's a little antique, don't you think?'" The GM says, "He manifests a syringe in one hand, pointed toward you. 'Besides being overkill. But perhaps you're... afraid of needles?'" The GM says, "There is the sick wrenching of infernal Essence being spent." [snip Will_Roll ; announce succeeded ] William [to Ekur]: Will to resist, Essence to boost if you wish. Ekur will go raw. Ekur rolled 10 versus 18 and succeeded by 8. William [to Ekur]: Indeed. And no, no you are not afraid of needles. You do however, recognize Beleth's Balseraph Attunement. Ekur attacks. The GM says, "Roll regular or AoA, as you choose." Ekur will . . . regular. Ekur rolled 5 versus 20 and critically succeeded by 15. The GM says, "Critical success! No active defense! Roll that beautiful swing damage!" The GM says, "(3d6)" Ekur rolled 3d6 and got 16. Neil chokes. Draco [to Ekur]: God likes you tonight. William [to Ekur]: Oh, very important question. Were you attacking ethereally or celestially? StevenE [to William]: Ethereally. Neil . o O ( Now THIS is psychology. ) The GM says, "Your target, supremely self-confident, is taken completely by surprise at the apparent failure of his resonance to affect you, and makes the silly slip-up of attempting to parry a broadsword with a syringe. This has the fully expected effect, and his hand is severed from his wrist, with the blade continuing on to bite deep into his torso. Your intent catches symbolic hold and literally thrusts him out of the dreamscape, headed somewhere nasty. Conscious and stunned -- that's one tough demon -- but not going to be back here for a while." The GM says, "Yazz and Draco see a Balseraph pop out of the dreamscape like someone dropkicked him." Draco steps up to dropkick the Balseraph. Draco [to William]: ...I mean, as long as he's there... Draco [to William]: I can use Brawling for that, right? The GM says, "Unfortunately, he's not there when you get there. You do get close enough to recognize Mephibosheth's celestial form before he vanishes, though. Looks like he woke up in a Vessel somewhere. Often happens when you take ethereal damage while sleeping." Draco says, "Huh. Well, there's one theory proven, or at least given significant weight in its favor." Ekur sheathes his sword, and starts dismantling the apparatus around the kid off. When he finishes, he steps back out of the dreamscape, telling the kid, "Why don't you get out of here, now that that bastard's gone?" The GM says, "He looks at you wide-eyed. '...out?' He's deeply grateful but completely at sea concerning what just happened." The GM says, "From outside the dreamscape, you all see it hovering uncertainly, before bobbing out the hole Mephibosheth left in the cell door and floating off." Ekur says, "Well, that was a blast from the past. I spent a couple thousand years doing that sort of thing." Draco . o O ( Me too! ...well, from the other side. ) Yazz looks at you two uncertainly. "So is that it? Or have we just bought ourselves a few days until that Bal heals up?" Draco says, "I would be very surprised if that were it, both in the long-term and immediately. He would be an idiot to not have more set in motion than his own personal interference with a few human dreamscapes, and I don't recall him being an idiot." Neil . o O ( Never bring a syringe to a swordfight, unless it's a really, really big syringe. ) Ekur says, "A couple days, probably. Assuming he's the only one involved. If things run deeper, then we won't have even that much respite." The GM says, "On which note, you head out of death row for the night, and we turn back to Neil!" The GM says, "We turn the clock back about half an hour or so before the Essence expenditure that will be audible across the Domain, just after Yazz left." The GM says, "The doctors in the hospital wing, as we may recall, are interested in whether Dr. Voorhees has any particular research interests or specialties." Asher [to William]: Neil is *much* smarter than I am, so I'll leave the technical vocabulary to him. If he thinks he can make it work, I'd go for something along the lines of the line between the Ethereal and the Divine, and the Ethereal and the Faded. He's got at least passing knowledge in both fields. Asher [to William]: If he's not ready to BS experts in their field, however, we'll go with just a desire to collect a paycheck and a passive interest in helping people. The GM says, "The relevant skills for BSing look like Fast-Talk and... not much else, really. It's probably safer to go with 'I'm looking for a salary and know EthHealing,' yeah." The GM says, "(By the way, 'Dr.' in the Marches is not exactly a widely-accredited title. Williams was dreamed up as a country GP. Xeno has been a doctor since Hippocrates' time, and really knows medicine. Yarrow is a virtuoso with the Songs of Healing. Zebulon knows enough about alchemy and psychopharmacology to produce a few legitimate drugs like morphine or, well, alcohol, with the attendant effects on a psyche." The GM says, "Yarrow feels safer around you, and slightly superior to you. Xeno is awaiting proof of your skills. Zebulon definitely considers himself your superior, and, you sense, will be letting you understand this. Williams is immediately friendlier to an average Joe." Asher [to William]: Did I get population figures on the inmates? Asher [to William]: Trying to figure out if four doctors is justified, or if Yazz is just hiring loose cannons to keep them under control. The GM says, "You can. The doctors know there are several hundred nonviolent offenders, about three dozen violent offenders, and currently 9 paying residents. About half a dozen patients are currently in the hospital wing, healing up from particularly deep Mind Hit wounds, and three inmates who were Fading when they came in or started afterward, getting Essence infusions. It's not helping two of them, but Zebulon appears to have stabilized one, some anime villain." The GM says, "Regarding ratio of doctors to patients, this might be a bit much for an ethereal population normally, but the doctors are predisposed to the impression that Yazz is hiring more because of all the fights that have been going on recently, resulting in more wounds and discorporations leaving scars of Discord." Asher [to William]: All these guys are smarter than I'm going to admit to being, and past asking about basic administrative matters, I can't talk about anything I gleaned from my resonance, and past basic administrative questions ("who do I get requsition Essence from?") I'm not sure I'll have a lot to talk about until something work-related comes up. Neil frowns at a poorly edited statement. Williams says, "Keeping the violent offenders segregated doesn't seem to help; you'll have whole floors of perfectly well-behaved prisoners suddenly decide to balk at some rule. Never know when it's gonna happen." William [to Asher]: Yeah, I'm not sure what you mean. You would like to fast-forward to meeting back up with Ekur and Draco? Asher [to William]: Yes. *squeeSQUEESQUEESQUEEsqueep* The GM says, "Done. You're in Ekur's soon-to-be-office, with a table and chairs." SuStel walks in from the Gaming Floor. William waves to the spectator. SuStel waves inobtrusively. Draco says, "Rick is getting bad information from someone he trusts, and Mephy is playing games in human dreams over in death row. Anything else you two picked up on during the tour?" Ekur says, "One of the guards -- a troublemaker back in Civis -- reacted with unusual nervousness when seeing me." The GM says, "Well, the group consisting of you, Draco, and Yazz." Ekur says, "One of the guards -- a troublemaker back in Civis -- reacted with unusual nervousness when seeing," he gestures to Yazz and Draco "us." William [to Neil]: You recall Glen. His MO was to use a Shunt (alchemical item) to temporarily steal control of a relic, then attempt to sell it off for other physical goods before the effect wore off. The GM says, "(Leaving his unwitting customer also unable to use the item now back under its original owner's control.)" Asher [to William]: I ever figure out where the Shunts were coming from? The GM says, "They're a not-widely-known but not-secret alchemical formulation. He bought them legitimately from various sources." The GM says, "Well. 'Legitimately.' Most common source was demons of Theft." Neil says, "Oh, you're talking about Glen. I remember him from Civis -- he was boosting relics from people, using some alchemical concoction I never heard of to pretend to own them, and selling them to the unwitting. New buyer ended up with title to a relic he couldn't bind to." Neil says, "A small time crook -- we were more interested in Valefor's boys who kept him in potions." William [to Neil]: Don't forget your own news. Asher [to William]: Right, just getting there. Neil says, "Doctors are a mixed bag. We've got one gentleman who's been practicing since Hippocrates was big news -- huh, I wonder if he IS Hippocrates? -- ranging on down to one guy who can barely make alcohol." Neil says, "Oddly enough, it's the latter doctor who's making serious strides in his research -- he thinks he's managed to cure Fading." Draco says, "Cure, or delay? And how?" Neil says, "If only his only successful patient was an anime villian, I'd be happier about it." Neil says, "Essence infusions. One out of three patients have responded." Neil says, "He's not smart enough to have figured out anything new, and a no-longer-fading Ethereal we can profile as having ties to the kami doesn't fill me with hope." Neil says, "As for cured or delayed... time will tell." Ekur says, "Or one out of three is faking. 'Anime villain' in the same place as 'demon of Nightmares' . . ." Neil twirls his stethescope, watching the cloud of condensation trail behind it. "I'll know more when I talk to them. I've surely got a good excuse to have contact with all the patients in the wing." Schedule-wise, need to wind down. Set plans for next session and we'll pick up in two weeks. Neil says, "For what it's worth, the doctors don't themselves appear to be involved in anything untoward -- except as dupes. They're all appropriately subordinate to you, Yazz."" Neil clarifies. "Except *maybe* as dupes." Yazz grunts. "Good to know. We need to find that mole under Rick, though." Draco says, "I'm a little reassured to find Meph around here, because it means the news of his presence isn't a complete red herring. But I'm not happy to see him taking time to play in human dreamscapes. It suggests he's set up enough other trouble that he can afford to take time away from it for personal projects. I'd guess that the mole under Rick is one of his many projects in motion." Ekur looks over to Draco. "Oh, is he Redeemable in the reasonably short term, based on your knowledge of him?" William [to Draco]: One time? Okay, one time, there was this girl, right, and she'd just heard about female circumcision. So Mephibosheth, see, he introduced her to this nice young imam... The GM says, "...later on, he laughed and laughed about it." The GM says, "Should answer Ekur's question." Draco blinks three times. "...I really wouldn't know. He's a conniving, vindictive, vicious Servitor of Nightmares who's never shown any sign of hidden virtues that could be drawn upon, but you could've said the same about me, a century ago. I only have a personal anecdote on redemption. No way of extrapolating in an useful manner." Draco [to William]: See, it would be easier to just say "Hell no" if Draco hadn't been such a bastard himself until recently... William nods. Ekur nods at Draco. "Hope for everyone, of course," says the angel who still is hoping for Beleth's redemption, "but not something to rely on in the short term in most cases, seemingly including this one." Asher [to William]: Did Meph take Dissonance when Ekur shrugged off his resonance? Asher [to William]: Nott hat it matters either way, I guess, just curious. William [to Neil]: No, happens on critical resistance. So far I've got Neil looking to chat with our anime villain... what do Draco and Ekur plan? Role-wise, you'll presumably have the day job to handle, but you can work around that at times. Draco is planning on following Ekur around and resonating the heck out of anything said in earshot. SuStel walks to the Lobby. Asher [to William]: Day job, resonating patients; night time, chat with the guards. Ekur will want to, under cover of his job, talk to a few of the guards and the anime villain. Nobody else seems obvious . . . William nods. Sounds like a good plan. Mephibosheth will be having a bit of a migraine for a while, poor thing. The GM says, "A'ight, session end. Everybody good for two weeks from today?" Draco says, "Ayup!" fadethecat has deleted all of their local references. Ekur says, "Yep!" StevenE has deleted all of their local references. Neil says, "Fun session!" The GM says, "Cool. Yeah, good session, lot of developments. See y'all in a fortnight." home
