Last game, we were in Golden Gate Park, coming on late afternoon. Frizz has jumped into a squirrel now hiding in Nicole's backpack. Liriel is pondering. Hallaren has just sent a message that several Valeforians have been sighted in the Park. You had just quizzed one of the four Shedim that had attempted a breakout and were planning what to do next. ---------------- Game Start --------------------- *** katster is now known as Nicole Suppose I notion that Ellis and Fearless split up. You are, after all, searching a fairly large district of the city for something not quite known. That is, that Ellis and Fearless form one group, you three another. Sound like a plan? i guess. [Bruce] Shore. yah "Let me think..." Ellis paces. "Last I heard, the Skull was in Europe, and under Orthodox control. Moving it would have been a major issue. If it's here under chuch auspices, the Archdiocese would have to know about it. And if it's *not*..." "...I guess the next most likely people to know about it would be our friends in *this* See," he says, jerking a thumb back towards Hallaren. "Then we could do legwork around the churches, or hit the authorities up for information. Either's a good route." * Edward looks up. "Or we could check a couple of the local christian community newspapers, see if they're announcing it." * Nicole snrks. "What christian community newspapers?" * Edward shrugs. "Just a stab in the dark. There's no such beastie?" "There really aren't any, SF's kinda out there." "Oh, parishes will have newsletters, but mainly for mailing. Or picking up at the church." *to Ellis* "Would it have been big enough to make the city papers? SF Gate?" "Dunno. They might not *want* it known." "The Guardian? The Weekly? Those are the alternative papers here?" "That would mean hitting the morgues. Professional courtesy means they'd let me in, probably. I could go do that." "I'm not amazingly fond of setting foot in a living parish these days. Poking around the diocesan offices I could probably handle, though." "There's..." he looks around and lowers his voice. "There's a Tether in one of the churches. Faith. The Seneschal might know something. But I'd really want to be quiet about going there. We think it may still be unknown to the Other Side, and if we can keep it that way a little longer, all the better." "Okay, so you two check the official offices, and we do some leg - if you'll excuse the term, 'cole - work and go on a churchcrawl?" "You can contact us if you find anything?" Ellis nods and waves his cellphone. "It sounds likely to be productive, then." "I go whichever way Bruce goes." * Edward looks at Frizz. "Suggestions for contacting him/her/it?" "It's okay." "The Seneschal? Yeah. Drop an Essence or two in his Tether, he'll notice." * Edward shrugs. "Never did figure out how that works, yet." "Faith angels are particularly secretive about their work, though. He's likely to sound more like a fortune cookie than a trooper unless he knows you're an angel." Liriel looks over at Ed. "Oh? It will be easy enough to show you the process. You should be able to do it nearly instinctively. We can practice on the way there." * Edward grins. "That'd work." "I'm gonna stick with Ed, if it's okay?" "Right, then. Ellis, you'll take my rental car... I guess the five of you will cram into Ed's." He smirks, and the two of them go off. * Bruce looks over from where he's been staring pensively at the grass. "Looks like Frizz n'me are with you two, then. Shall we?" * Nicole mutters "I really don't like him." as soon as Fearless is out of earshot. * Bruce pats Nicole on the shoulder. "Reporters. They make their living at being obnoxious." He shrugs. "I think that's a plan." *turns to Hallaran* "Thanks for the help. And nice place you've got here." "We strive to keep it that way. And thanks for your help earlier. Stay centered, and good luck." "I'll make a little more room in the car. Talk to the squirrel if you need me." He winks at Frizz, and disappears. Bruce and Ed see the celestial form of a Kyriotate momentarily, before it enters Nicole's backpack. 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3d6) and gets 14. Bruce is, of course, unfazed. In point of fact, a Kyrio, while still transcendently mind-boggling, is not half so bad as that Shedite. Ed, you manage to get a grip on yourself as it happens. * Edward has recently seen a couple of Shedim, so the Kyrio doesn't faze him that much - especially as it's neither dripping celestial slime nor radiating malignity at a megawatt level. The Disturbance ripples past you, as well. * Edward looks thoughtful... "Is that the same with all choirs/bands? The counterpart of each looking like a twisted, warped mirror image of the, ah, 'original' ?" "Except for Calabim, who appear to be winged horned humanoids, becoming several rings of energy when they Redeem. I've never had the pleasure of observing the process, and I fear explanations to me have not been all that successful. For everyone else, yes." * Bruce briefly squeezes his left eye closed in mild pain as the notes echo off of his psyche. "Well. At least his parts are mostly recognizable." He massages the side of his head and turns for the stroll to the parking lot. Liriel follows Bruce. * Edward nods, files the explanation away in mental storage, and continues on his way to the vehicle * Nicole just shakes her head at you all. 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3d6) and gets 4, "That's a critical success, don't think this means I like you." * Nicole OOCly snickers "One of these days, I'm going to get used to the fact I'm blind too..." *grin* hee "No worries, I'll play guide dog if you want." The squirrel pokes its head out of Nicole's backpack and comes close to her ear. "Can't manage much above a whisper in this body, hon, but his teeth seem to be a lot better than most squirrel's, thank goodness. Anyway, unless you want to head to St. Francis on Dolores, the Tether I was talking about is St. Paul's, on Church and Valley. It's south of the Mission District." [Bruce] "I wouldn't fret it, kid. Some things are better off unseen, y'know?" * Edward nods at Bruce. "Echo that - I could've lived without seeing those rejects from a bad tentacle hentai anime." "I have heard of anime. But what is 'hentai'?" * Nicole nods, and speaks so the others can hear it. "Frizz says that unless we want to go to St. Francis, the place he was talking about is St. Paul's, on Church and Valley, south of the Mission District." Frizz curls back up in the pack. "Literal translation would be along the lines of 'perverted'. In this case, pornographic." Liriel blanches. "Oh." *** Arsenal (arsenal@216-164-27-11.c3-0.drf-ubr1.atw-drf.pa.cable.rcn.com) has joined #gurps oi *** Arsenal is now known as Fearless what'd I miss so far? planning phase. Hey Ars. We sent Fearless off doing legwork -- whether he shows back up tonight depends on what happens and at what pace. * Bruce grins at Liriel. "Welcome to earth." He wanted to check the local morgues to see whether there had been any mention of a major relic being moved through the city, and as a newspaperman he was the most likely to be let in. *nod* "So -- which church *are* we going to?" "I'm not sure. I can see pros for both." * Edward pulls up a map. "Let's see, what's the most efficient route..." St. Francis is to your southeast, in the heart of the Mission District. St. Paul's is not marked, but the intersection of Church St. and Valley St. is almost directly south, at about the same distance. Both are about three miles away. "Okay, doesn't seem to matter much distancewise..." *pulls out a coin* "Heads, St. Paul's, Tails, St. Francis?" 1d2 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (1d2) and gets 1. Heads. "St. Paul's it is. Everyone strapped in?" "Yup." Liriel eyes the coin curiously. "American practices of divination are much simplified from those I have had experience with in the past." [Bruce] "'S'go." "Edward, sit in the back seat with me. We may pass the time educationally.² * Edward nods and does so "Just like everything else nowadays - when in doubt, let money decide." "Well, that and most people don't carry dice with them." Actually, I do. And so do 80% of my RL friends. At any given time. :) *snicker* Well...I do too. Liriel begins humming "Ezekiel Saw the Wheel" until you get onto the road. they're in the pouch of my backpack with my passport and digicam. After all, you never know when you suddenly get an opportunity for some quality roleplay... :) hehe. o/~ Them sinners gon'ta Hell fo' rollin' them dice... o/~ Roll 'em, Dice! 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3d6) and gets 13. "Attend now, Edward: the visual cues will be aids, but what you must really use is the new sense which you have obtained..." * Edward nods, attentively. Liriel has Ed practice passing an Essence back and forth until Ed can do it confidently. It only takes a few minutes, and doing this, fortunately, causes no Disturbance. Okay, you're all official now. :^) woo. :) Mark that you have... 2d3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (2d3) and gets 5, a CRITICAL FAILURE!!! "God hates you, and so do I." No, that was actually good. You have 5 Essence at the moment. :^) * Bruce observes out of random curiosity. "Huh. It doesn't make any noise when he does it?" just transferring doesn't cause disturbance, I think. Liriel says distractedly as he and Ed pass an Essence, "You can give and receive units between cooperating beings. It doesn't make any Disturbance." [Bruce] Chalk it up to the ignorance of the character, then. ;) [Bruce] Let alone the player. ^^ *heh* Liriel furrows his brow. "I can't recall, however, whether Impudite theft causes Disturbance... I think it does, but I'm not certain." He shakes his head. "Jean's Seraphim are constructed with eidetic memories. I have often considered requesting service for him long enough to earn the boon." * Edward grins. You drive away from the Bridge and down into a residential area. In front of you, a hill rises with houses climbing its slopes. In front of them is a church with two Gothic spires standing tall against the setting sun: http://www.stpaulsf.org/view_3.jpg * Nicole rides in the front and thinks quietly to herself. view_2.jpg ain't bad, either. * Nicole tries to remember which district Church and Valley is in... Noe Valley, near Diamond Heights A short way southwest of the Mission District. *** KillJoy_ (fnord@cf2.c004.g4.mrt.starband.net) has joined #gurps Hey KJ. The closest I've been is the Castro. Which is close, but not quite. A banner in front of the church happily announces, "One-Year Anniversary of the Reopening." * Edward looks at it. "What, no Catholicism WOW! rally?" Had to. You know it. Only Nicole hears a squirrel attempting a low growl. There is parking nearby. Condominiums rise on one side, and another houses what may be a school. * Nicole raises an eyebrow and looks at Ed. "Something tells me Dogma refs don't go over well with the squirrel." "Duly noted. I apologize - but it was a good movie, if somewhat inaccurate..." * Nicole giggles a bit. "If anything, Laurence and Khalid are accused of being *too* dogmatic -- oh, a movie. Oh, THAT movie." He pauses. "Angels getting sent to America are required to screen it. It's considered something of a mid-term exam." * Edward blinks. * Edward then grins. * Edward decides to keep the puns to himself right now, though "Somebody's got a sense of humour Upstairs, then." Liriel shrugs. "'Angels in America,' too. And a few episodes of 'Touched by an Angel.' We have to know what perceptions we may run in to, you see." "No 'Michael'?" "I'm fairly confident that Scientology isn't a Divine Religion, 'cole." "I don't know that one. The selection is made at a fairly high level -- you can imagine that Media presence in Heaven is kept to a carefully selected minimum." "My mom loves that movie, Ed. And just 'cause John Travolta's a Scientologist doesn't mean he's always playing one. It's called 'acting' for a reason..." "Mmm." He leaves it at that. * Nicole shrugs and grins. "I can see where it might not go over well in places, though..." "So...shall we go see what awaits us here?" "Yea, verily." * Bruce eases the car into a parking space. "We're off to seek enlightenment." You park. On the sidewalk walking by are a couple of nuns in the Carmelite habit Mother Teresa made famous. A light burns in one of the towers, from which emanates a chime of the hours -- 5pm, apparently. The front of the church is open and a 6:30 Mass is announced on the bulletin board on the front lawn. There is little activity in the school, though a few preteens seem to be considering a pickup basketball game. A good-sized building on the far corner of the compound, behind some trees, exhibits some activity. * WillGM pings the players. "So what do we want to do?" * Bruce retrieves Nicole's wheelchair from the trunk and rolls it up alongside her door. He looks at the church. "So where's the Tether? This one doesn't seem as obvious as some of the other ones." "The Seneschal is sure to be about somewhere. This Tether doesn't sound like a Harbor, so he'll almost certainly be enVesseled." "It's a naturally quiet Tether... but rather weak." His voice grows soft. "Khalid's attention has been... elsewhere, until recently." *** Zibblsnrt (Zibblsnrt@ip142177227079.mpoweredpc.net) has quit IRC [Quit: *reboot*] * Nicole frowns. "It could be anybody with an excuse to hang around the church, but I'd lend good money to it being a priest or nun..." "Oh?" [Bruce] "Well, it'd probably be easier to find 'im, y'know, inside." "Well, yeah...my guess is simply because priests and nuns tend to live on church grounds..." * Edward nods and walks on * Bruce makes like a tree. * Nicole rolls forward, listening carefully if Frizz has anything to say. * Edward listens to the faint Tethersong Liriel heads for the main doors. "There does appear to be a convent that way," he nods "-- but I do not know whether we could gain entrance." "You know, Mass isn't that long from now. Maybe if we sit through it we could gain a clue." Inside St. Paul's is a world of Italian marble and German stained glass. Red sunset light tints the inside through intricate windows of complex scenes, lit by electric lamps on gilded stands. 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3d6) and gets 14. * Nicole wows quietly as they enter. * Edward nods at 'cole, "Sounds good." then goes quiet as they enter. He may not be very religious himself, he knows when to respect religion. "The one thing the Catholics have on the Unitarians...a hell of a lot of tradition..." * Bruce smirks slightly. "I was thinking that they really know how to spend their money." * Nicole looks up and shrugs. "Faith is." There are a few people sitting in the pews. Some are talking, some are praying, some are sitting quietly. The altar dominates the far end of the church in front of the choir, of course. The left part of the transept is a prayer chapel, and the right leads into the church. There is a font to your left, along with a stairway up to a walkway running along both sides of the church. Liriel turns. "Ed." [Bruce] "Wouldn't know." * Edward nods at Liriel. "Mm?" Liriel raises his eyebrows. * Nicole sings quietly "adestes fideles..." * Edward nods, walks over to the candle display, lights one and releases a point of Essence into it as he places it with the rest. Each of you except Nicole hear a single chime of Disturbance, almost a pure tone, ring. Interestingly enough, you get the impression that it stops at the walls of the church and does not echo outside. * Nicole continues singing the latin, quietly, oblivious to what's happened. * Bruce just waits. "...natum videte regium angelorum..." "...venete adormus venete adormus...dominum" A voice joins in, from someone walking down the stairs from the walkway above. " o/~ Cantet nunc Io chorus angelorum; cantet nunc aula caelestium... o/~ " He comes to the ground floor, a short, somewhat balding man with a high light voice. "You have a pleasant singing voice, my dear." * Nicole blinks. "Uh. Thanks." "...it just seemed sorta appropriate, I'm sorry if it was disturbing..." "I am Phillip. I trust it *was* you I... heard?" He emphasizes the last word. * Nicole looks at the rest of the gang suspiciously. * Edward coughs politely. "Actually, that would have been me." Phillip looks Edward over. "Ah. And where are you from, that I may welcome you to St. Paul's Parish?" * Nicole sighs, quietly, where nobody can hear, 'cept the squirrel in the bag. * Edward makes a half-bow in greeting. "Edward Wong, hailing from the City of Brotherly love, normally, accompanying my friends here." Liriel nods. "*I*, my friend, am from the Library. We have come to discuss a professional matter. Perhaps in private?" * Nicole flexes her right hand, gently, and then looks at it. "Of course. Follow me, please." He leads you along the side of the church, turning left at the transept and heading into offices attached further back. "Welcome to the rectory. Father Farana is preparing for the Mass right now; the offices will be fairly empty." *** Zibblsnrt (Zibblsnrt@ip142177227079.mpoweredpc.net) has joined #gurps * Bruce glances curiously at Nicole's hand as they follow along, but doesn't say anything. Phillip turns into an office marked "Grounds Maintenance" and sits down behind the desk. There's just room for Nicole and the two chairs with the door closed. "Now then. How may I help you all?" He eyes each of you in turn. 3 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3 3d6) and gets 9 12 10. Honorable deeds or mental states, what'll it be? Heh, mental states: general emotional state and current strongest motivation Let me be more precise: general emotional state, dominant mood, and what's motivating that dominant emotion. Ed's msg'd me with his character's. Bruce, Nicole? to you, via msg. "We were wondering whether you might know if an object had passed through the city recently. A holy relic, usually overseen, I am told, by the Eastern Orthodox Church." "Oh... I don't recall the Eastern Church ever telling us much of anything. Certainly not their relic translations..." 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3d6) and gets 9. Liriel starts. "You are *ly--!"... he visibly controls himself. * Nicole blinks. * Edward raises Ye People's Eyebrow. *abruptly* "He will not speak openly with you three in the room. Please leave." * Nicole shrugs and looks at Ed. * Edward blinks, then nods. "Word-diss. Gotcha. We'll be at the Mass." * Edward nods to Philip and exits with 'cole and Bruce. Liriel speaks contritely. "It should not take that long. My apologies." "'s okay, I understand." * Bruce narrows his eyes at Phillip, but turns and leaves without protest. * Nicole exits with Ed and Bruce. Phillip leans over. "I'm sorry to leave you three out of this. It's nothing personal." His voice takes on a tinge of amusement. "At least you're being left out together." * Nicole smiles slightly. "There's that... 'Dominus vobiscum'" * Nicole then goes back to the slighly neutral expression she's been wearing since they wandered back in here. "Et cum spiritu tuo." The door closes. [Bruce] "Well, that was annoying." The squirrel climbs up on Nicole's shoulder and begins cleaning specks of dirt from its paws. * Nicole shakes her head. "Sorry for getting you kicked out too, Frizz." "No big. Liriel will tell us everything. Or he'll probably have a good reason for not telling us, at any rate." * Bruce leans back against the wall, folding his arms. "That's very comforting." "What did we do wrong?" "We didn't -- it's just that Faith has this rule about not revealing their celestial status to humans. Even those who are already in the know." "Angels of Faith are flatly forbidden to compromise faith, even if -- in their view -- it's already been compromised, with evidence. Look at it this way: we have to trust that what's going on in there is the right deal, and that's a form of faith, so he's serving his Word." "Soldiers of Faith are rarer than hen's teeth -- Khalid himself is the only one that can empower them." "Silly rule, in my opinion." [Bruce] "Eh. Makes a twisted sort of sense. Still feels like being sent to the kids' table." "More than a rule, dear. I don't have a high opinion of Hallaren's Dissonance condition, nor he of mine, but we leave each other to our business and help when we can." "Mmm. I'm willing to assume that when an Archangel cares enough about a topic to make it a Thou Shalt Not for his servitors, he's got a good reason even if it's not directly apparent to mortals." * Nicole nods. "I'm sorry, just somewhat bitter at the moment." "Dissonance isn't exactly a rule, 'cole -- it's closer to an unthinkable taboo." * Nicole nods. "Fair enough." "Hey, little-known fact -- Phillip *could* reveal himself to you, if it was directly linked to the well-being of his Tether. At least if he's Word-Bound to it. Not many people know that about Seneschals." "So, let me make sure I've got this straight. Even though we know he's an angel, and he knows we know, he's still not allowed to tell?" "In a Word.. yes." A nun in the Carmelite habit passes by and smiles at you all. "Excuse me, dears..." "Yes?" "Oh, just passing through to the choir." She eyes the squirrel. "My, aren't service animals getting diverse these days." She heads on to the main part of the church. and yes, the emphasis on 'Word' is audible to those who know there's such a thing. :) * Nicole giggles. "Animals seek God, too." "Is not the meanest of beasts as deserving of the kingdom of Heaven as the noblest of kings?" * Edward goes sit down after that. * Nicole grins a bit more. "People are weird." Frizz winks at Nicole, and heads back in to the knapsack. She then follows Ed. * Bruce grudgingly follows as well. Some minutes pass. The pews are beginning to collect people for the evening Mass, when Ed's cellphone rings. All those about him turn to shush him, asking that phones be turned off. * Edward winces and excuses himself. .oO(I thought I'd set that thing on *VIBRATE*) then goes outside and answers it. Number recog? Ellis. *** Fearless is now known as Arsenal "Speak now or forever hold your peace, Coach." "Uh... yeah. Damnedest thing at the archdiocese when I asked about relic translations recently. They seemed to have been expecting somebody and thought I was them until someone noticed at the last moment that I wasn't. Then I was asked for ID, and I asked to leave rather than go through *that*." "So, though I don't know how much this will help, I suspect *something* is up." "*eeeen*teresting. We're here at St. Paul's, enjoying Mass while Larry has a chat with one of his colleagues who prefers to talk in private." "Aww, St. Paul's is gorgeous. They nearly closed it a few years ago, too. I heard the parish rallied and got the funds -- they had to sell off the buildings of one of the convents for condominiums, though. Real shame." "Wish I could have been there. Speaking of which, Fearless wants to explore a few more of the archives, so it looks like we'll be late. Maybe meet you back at the hotel." "Gotcha. We'll howl if something comes up." "Right. We'll check in every few hours." "Sounds planalicious. I'm going back in and see how the psalms are going." "Okay." *click* * Edward pockets his cellphone and walks back in. * Bruce turns in the pew as Ed comes back. "S'up?" * Edward whispers. "Ellis found something. I'll fill y'all in later." Phillip comes in to the area, spots you all and comes over. "Your friend would like to speak to you. Please, make use of my office for as long as you like." * Edward nods. "Thank you for your hospitality." He nods, and moves off to meet and greet parishioners. *** J-Rock (slider@Dialup-097.KERV.omniglobal.net) has left #gurps * Edward turns to the others. "Shall we?" "Yeah, probably." [Bruce] "Yeah." Liriel is waiting in the office, still in a chair in front of the empty desk. "Trouble," he says as you walk in. [Bruce] "Surprise." "Isn't that the way it always works?" * Nicole lets Frizz out of the bag. "Had a call from Ellis while we were outside - he's been to the archdiocese and they thought he was someone else when he asked about it." After the door closes, Liriel speaks more plainly. "The Valeforians in town are not here to steal the Skull of Patmos. It has already *been* stolen. The skull and arm currently on display in Istanbul are fakes, not that anyone would suspect a sealed glass box to have been broken into." "We are not certain why it has been transported to San Francisco. A Cherub had been attuned to the relics, but the attunement was broken. The only known force that can do this is a Djinn of Fate." * Edward twitches at the word 'Fate.' "I agree." "Yuck." "Something truly unholy must be in the works. At this point I can no longer afford to equivocate as to whether this is part of my greater Quest. The involvement of these entities makes it so likely that a Fate plan is in the works that I must do what I can to thwart it." He looks up. "You were not asked to sign on for this. I will not hold you to staying. I can deal with this as best I can, then resume the Quest with you." "Or you may choose to stay with me." "Hold on - so the fakes are being transported here, or the real ones?" Liriel addresses Edward. "The real ones. The Skull is of the greater importance. It is known to yield prophecies on occasion." * Edward looks at 'cole and Bruce for a sec * Bruce shrugs at Edward. "Why not?" "I think I want to help how I can." * Edward nods, then turns back to Liriel. "We're in. How can we help?" "We need to find and retrieve the Skull, primarily. Then it needs to be returned. It must have been brought here for some use, which we should seek to thwart." Liriel looks down at the desk. "One problem is that the only investigation I have ever done in my existence has been into the experiments of Symphonic chords. I am not at all certain how to pursue this investigation." * Edward grins at Bruce. "How fortuitous." * Nicole looks over at Bruce. "You've currently got two cops and investigative journalist working with you on this. I think we'll be able to muddle through..." * Bruce smirks. "We'll need to gather whatever information we can on its whereabouts. We know there's some Magpies cruisin' around -- how difficult do you reckon it would be to track them down, and would they know anything?" Liriel quirks an eyebrow. "Of course -- back at the Park. They're surely involved." He thinks. "I can contact Hallaren and ask. A long conversation for Celestial Tongues, though... Nicole, you carry one of those portable phones, yes? What is its ID number?" * Nicole gives Liriel the number to her phone. Liriel then settles back to sing. Nicole, it's the same Song you heard him use back at your house, to communicate back to the 'Works. 3d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for WillGM (3d6) and gets 13. Liriel finishes his Song, and a few notes of Disturbance bounce through the office. A couple minutes later, Nicole's cellphone rings. (Hallaren needed to get to a phone.) Phillip opens the door and looks in. "Is everything all right?" * Edward nods. "Calling a few associates." * Nicole picks it up. "Yellow?" Nicole: "Such a pretty color. Like sunflowers. I got Liriel's call, hon -- the Magpies are still here. We've been thinking about picking them up; they're hanging around the Earthquake Memorial and starting to look frustrated. I think they may not know the incursion failed." "Yeah, I think we're gonna want 'em. Y'want to talk to Liriel?" "If he wants to talk to me." * Nicole looks at Liriel. "Y'want to talk to Hallaren?" Liriel shakes his head. "We have what we need." "Go ahead and pick them -- wait." He looks to Bruce. "*Is* that the course you recommend?" * Nicole looks to Bruce. * Bruce nods. "Easier to question them when you can hold them in one place, after all." "Okay." *into phone* "Okay, yeah, we're gonna want you to hold 'em, and I guess we'll be heading back over as soon as we get a chance." "Will do. I'll get some people on it. It should be resolved by the time you get back. Head for the Park Security building in the southeast corner of the park -- I want to keep this away from public view." "Alright, will do. See ya in a bit." "Okeedokee." *click* * Nicole hangs up and says, "So...I guess it's back to the Park, Hallaran says to meet us at the Park Security building." [Bruce] "Sounds like a plan." "Wise." "And hoyoto-ho, off again we go." Phillip leads you out back ways and around to the parking lot, as the Mass is starting. "God be with you in all your journeys." "And yours." * Nicole nods quietly at Phillip and thanks him. and it's getting onto 11, and I don't know about you guys, but my concentration is flagging. Yeah, I was feeling the same here. * Bruce nods at Phillip as he goes. "Thanks for the lend of the office." [Bruce] Sure, 11 for you. ;) nyeah, you could move back to Seattle, y'know. ;) Hey, near 2am for me. ;^) ---------------------- Session End ----------------------
