Position/Responsibilities: Researching and preparing to teach the Aiki 
system of psi/magic.

Appearance: Caucasian male, 21 yrs. old.  Taller than average, Slightly 
overweight, but well proportioned and strong. Shoulder length dark brown 
hair that falls in ringlets, but usually drawn back, Hazel eyes, usually 
covered by reinforced spectacles. Always wears full TRES uniform, except 
for undercover work. Literally doesn't own any other clothes.

Personality: 

In life: Patient, observant, polite, service-oriented, formal.

In battle: Precise, vicious, and unrepentant. Wields both empty hand and 
staff as natural outgrowth of a prime destructive force deep within.

When brainstorming: Will propose anything that comes to mind, literally, 
but doesn't mind one bit to have an idea edited or rejected. 

Abilities: 

	Jeff is a 5th Level Aiki Warrior, the lowest level of the 12 levels at 
which the Aiki has aquired abilities strong and varied enough to be 
considered fit for combat duty. His level was aquired by studying notes 
give to him by another Aiki, a one-month sojurn to meditate, and time 
spent on the run using only his abilities to survive. Ability list below:


	Stores mana from the Universe within his own pattern for later use. 
Reflexes and acrobatics are incredible, using foreknowledge of events. 
Short-range clairvoyance. Can move small items with telekinesis. Can 
"fuzz up" others short range memories.

	Excellent in hand to hand combat, using something that can only be 
described as a sadistic form of Aikido, although he can hold back if 
needed. Carries wherever possible a five-foot long staff, which he refers 
to as his "Big Wooden Stick", which seems to be nearly unbreakable when 
he's using to deal impressive amounts of damage on enemies and obstacles. 
Has been known to block thrown objects, but not bullets.



Disadvantages: Aiki abilities can't be used with battle armor, and slowed 
down even by light armor. Must meditate to regain mana. Weapons bonuses 
limited to his specific staff. Has no healing and/or damage prevention 
ability. Lousy shot. Can never learn any Magic, Psionics, or Combat 
system other than Aiki.

Equipment: Strict minimalist. Will usually be seen with Linker, BWS, and 
a book.

A.) The Wild Bunch: his former Certification Team, and their primary 
instructor. First featured in "Band of Brothers."


Story Usage: Should you wish to use this character in a story, likely 
roles are:

1.) Jihaddi Financial Investigator: Jeff will often serve as a set of 
eyes and ears as for Chi Squadron's intelligence, relying on his college 
experience to understand his information. When doing so he will focus on 
keeping cover, getting info, avoiding conflict, and "fuzzing" away as 
much as possible.

2.) mib: his "fuzzing" ability and minimalist equipment needs make him a 
natural to get in, destroy the evidence, and get back out. Usually.

3.) "Custodian": Jeff's staff usage, 6th senses, and wristlock-based 
combat skills lead to assignments involving "escorting" people to and 
from locations, sometimes even when they don't want to go.

4.) Front-liner: Jeff is always itching for a chance to cut down on the 
size of the enemy army. While a fan of despongification wherever 
possible, has no qualms responding to aggression with more aggression. 
Jeff favors keeping his staff in his right hand behind him in a 
back-ready stance, freeing up his left hand for hand-to-hand techniques.
