Name: Rebecca Fish Aka: Cygnata, Cyg, Becky, Beck Age: 21 Height: 5'4" Weight: 90 lbs Hair: Auburn, red and gold highlights Eyes: Hazel, changes with time of day or mood. Commonly gray-green with a ring of brown around the pupil, sometimes blue gray, turning completely brown when she's lying, upset, or excited, and completely green when tired. Physical Description: Beck is petite, thin, with an athletic build and olive-gold skin that tans very easily. She will wear her TRES uniform when necessary, but prefers wearing a T-shirt or turtleneck, jeans, and sneakers. Underneath long sleeved shirts, she will often wear an arm sheath for her 4 throwing knives. She always wears a silver dragon pendant, as well as a gold ring on her right hand, which has her initials engraved on it. When asked about either, she will only smile and say they were gifts from old friends. Personality: Cyg is logical about most things, and is normally quite calm, if a bit mischievous. Also, she is very curious at times, and will not rest until her curiosity is satisfied. She also tends to be quite loyal and understanding when it comes to people she trusts. However, her full trust is hard to gain, and quite easy to lose. For the most part, she is very outgoing among close friends, but shy around people she doesn't know as well. At times, Cyg also seems slightly bitter about something, but she refuses to say why. Her family is another subject she avoids discussing. Around groups of strangers, she tends to be wary. Crowds of strangers will make her extremely nervous, to the point of being miserable. In a crowd, she will tend to stick very close to someone she knows, and be very jumpy. It is not safe to sneak up behind her at that point, as her reflexes will generally kick in before she can tell if you're a friend or foe. Cyg also has a diplomatic side. She can talk her way out of many situations (and has done so in the past). She prefers to have as much knowledge as possible of her enemies, and will call their bluffs, if possible. She doesn't enjoy fighting, but will not hesitate to jump into the fray if a friend of hers is threatened. She has a bit of a white knight complex sometimes, especially when children are involved. Abilities: Cyg has some magical abilities, although most of them are on the weak side, or still need a lot of training. She can scan any minds within a 1/4 mile radius. However, beyond a 10 foot radius, all she can sense are vague impressions. With in 10 feet, she can catch surface thoughts, but she has to touch someone to scan them more deeply than that. She is also a strong Broadcast Telepath, but her Receiving ability is weak. She can also cast shields around herself or others. Some protect those inside from magical attacks, while others offer *very* limited protection from physical attacks. She can also cast Silence Shields, which are magical soundproof barriers. Maximum radius is 50 feet, but she can make them smaller than that, if need be. However, her shielding is erratic and can collapse suddenly, especially when she is distracted. Advantages/Disadvantages: Strong Broadcast telepath. Semi-decent with a sword, but will end up getting disarmed relatively quickly. She prefers fighting with a knife or dagger. Avoids guns like the plague whenever possible, and only use one if told to. Able to accurately aim a bow or gun (when she can be persuaded to use one), but she doesn't have much depth perception. Her shots will normally be perfectly aligned with the target, but most will either go over the mark or fall short. She is able to aim slightly better with throwing knives, especially when fighting close in. Cyg is stubborn, and has a very strong will. Shielding tends to be erratic, and may collapse suddenly. History: Soon after moving to Tucson, Arizona, Cyg came across a very large group of simple minded individuals. Getting slightly curious, she scanned a bit further, before suddenly encountering several unmistakably evil minds. Getting curious, she followed them for a while, before noticing that she wasn't the only one doing so. One of the evil minded ones gave an order to attack one of the other people following the group, and a battle quickly ensued. Cyg tried to get out of the line of fire, but was captured by a Jihaddi, who mistook her for a spongin trying to flee. He was quite thoroughly cursed at for his pains by a very pissed off Cyg. After the battle was over, and that whole mess was cleared up, she demanded to know the whole situation. After someone explained to her about the Jihad, she elected to join.
